Fresh Air Fuels are a UK based anaerobic digestion developer operating globally.

We provide a comprehensive biogas plant solution that ensures our clients can dispose of waste in a responsible, environmentally friendly way, whilst creating an uninterrupted source of renewable energy and nutrient-rich bio-fertiliser.

  • Unlike many of the materials used in mainstream digesters, the majority of the materials we use can have a second life and be reused once the plant has been decommissioned.

    • The use of concrete is kept to an absolute minimum which contributes to the reversibility of our plants

    • Major portions of the plant (except the bio-digester) can be containerised which allows building to be done off-site if desired

    • Good planning and a thorough understanding of the plant’s design leads to a smooth commissioning process.

    • Many years of commissioning the projects we’ve designed and built has led to a wealth of experience being built up by our team.

    • Involving future operating staff in the commissioning process where possible, is an effective training tool.

    • We have over a decade of experience managing biogas plants with high efficiency

    • Biodigesters house billions of microorganisms which make each biodigester unique. Effective operations and management of a biogas plant require understanding and attentive monitoring of key parameters.

    • How to respond to any changes in key parameters is also critical for the effective operation of a biodigester

    • Due to the nature of raw biogas, informed material selection during the design and build phases greatly impacts the extent and frequency of maintenance required on the remainder of the biogas plant
